Once the first even slightly cooler breeze blows and a solitary leaf falls, we start thinking about transitioning our summer hair color to a darker, warmer, or deeper shade for the autumn. While fall hair color trends do change a bit from year to year, there's something about a rich chocolate or “foxy red” hair color that just feels right come September. Unless you're Hailey Bieber, that is! Instead of going darker for the season, the Rhode founder flipped the script and added more blonde to her brunette bob.
The new mom to baby Jack Blues Bieber shared a snapshot of her fall color on Instagram Stories, saying she was going “blonder for fall." Bieber has been brunette for a long time—since March 2022, to be exact—but she's definitely moving back to blonde territory with this color. Though her roots are still dark, her mid-lengths are a warm amber-honey blonde shade with a brighter beige blonde near her face. Given that Bieber only shared a selfie, we can't see the full 360, but it looks like a dimensional, ultra-natural mix of brunette and blonde tones, commonly referred to as “bronde.” In some lights, it's definitely in the “brunette” box, while in others, it's much brighter and blonder.

Do these brighter highlights mean Bieber is planning a return to her California blonde of yore? That's still TBD, but as a mom myself, I definitely remember the feeling of wanting to change up my hair shortly after having a baby. The new mom has kept a pretty low profile since welcoming baby Jack a few weeks ago, but she's still giving us tons of fall beauty inspo, starting with her midnight blue and auburn brown nails and now, this gorgeous transitional color. Are there more transformations in store for Mrs. Bieber? You know we'll be watching.
